Jury
Each year, the Society selects three judges with slightly varied areas of expertise. The judging takes place in Spring, in Vancouver.

Donna Braggins
Retired Associate Dean, Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design at Sheridan College. At Sheridan Donna oversaw Graphic Design, Photography, Illustration, Art Fundamentals and several other key courses at Sheridan College. She has an MA in Canadian Design History. She's art directed magazines including Macleans.

Bryan Gee
Designed a variety of books. He received an Alcuin design award for a book published in 2004. He is currently the designer of the Globe’s Opinion section.

Roberto Dosil
Designer, Partner in Stanton, Atkins, Dosil publishers, Lecturer in the Master of Publishing program at the Canadian Centre for Studies in Publishing, Simon Fraser University. He has been a juror for the Alcuin Excellence in Design Competition many times
